In this exclusive PNQ Academy video, Natalia will guide you through the marking and quilting of the enchanting Farm Fresh Embroidery Appliqué quilt. This quilt features a charming blend of embroidered appliqué designs, making it a unique and enjoyable project. Natalia pairs several complementary quilting patterns, which she repeats throughout the quilt for added visual interest. To achieve this, she skillfully uses the versatile Sway & 4-N-1 rulers, adding graceful curves and straight lines to her work.

Watch as Natalia expertly demonstrates the quilting process, using the Sway 4 & Mini 4-N-1 machine quilting rulers along with a long straight-edge ruler. For marking, she relies on her trusty blue Mark-B-Gone marker. All the marking fits within her machine throat space, allowing her to load the quilt and mark as she progresses.

To achieve a lovely texture and loft, Natalia uses one layer of Quilter's Dream Wool batting. She stitches with SoFine! thread, which blends beautifully with the quilt, while a neutral pre-wound SuperBob thread is used in the bobbin for balanced stitching.

Natalia quilts on her Gammill 22" machine in stitch-regulated mode at 13 spi. When using rulers, she emphasizes the importance of applying gentle, even pressure with the extended base and ruler foot for precise and consistent results.
