What You’ll Need:
- Something to quilt on: Natalia will be working with solid fabrics. This is a perfect opportunity to practice on charity quilts or use fabrics from your stash.
- Batting: Natalia uses 1 layer of Quilters Dream Poly Deluxe Batting.
- Thread: So Fine! #401 for the top, and SuperBobs #624 in the bobbin.
- Fabric: Stash fabrics or charity quilt tops work great for practice.
- Books & Workbooks: "Beginner's Guide to Free-Motion Quilting" and the "Quilter's Sketchbook" are recommended.
- Measuring Tools: A foldable tape measure.
- Marking Tools: Natalia uses the Blue Mark-B-Gone Marker and removes the markings with the Misting Spray Bottle.
Skill Level: This class is designed for quilters with a basic understanding of free-motion quilting. Whether you’re quilting with rulers or free-motion techniques, you’ll gain valuable skills to apply on any machine.
Please note: All students must own a copy of Natalia's book, "Beginner's Guide to Free-Motion Quilting." If you already have the book, simply choose the class-only option during registration.
